Craig Sellar

Since his first live performance at the age of 14, Craig has had a colourful career that has seen him play hundreds of gigs and studio sessions both across the UK and abroad. A show for Iranian rapper Sasy Mankan broadcast by the BBC, playing to 20,000 people at Ascot Racecourse and festivals for ex-Thin Lizzy guitarist Robin George are just are few of the highlights thus far.

Drawing inspiration from all genres, from funk and reggae to latin and soul, Craig has accumulated a huge rhythmic arsenal ready to be applied to any musical situation.

After emigrating to Spain in 2004, Craig met drummer Ian Green (Fame) and that's where his musical career began. Starting off in school bands, it wasn't long before Craig was playing professionally at the age of 16 for world-renowned blues guitarist, Mama Paula. In between gigs with Mama Paula, Craig was playing percussion in Seussical The Musical at the Sotogrande Theatre, functions with the Marbella Big Band and gigging every week with local cover bands.

In 2013, Craig moved back to London to further his music education at Tech Music School, where he studied with top industry professionals such as Erik Stams, Simon Carter, Sebastiaan de Krom and Garreth Brown.
